Hospitality and Tourism Management
This programme contains subjects such as methodology and society, communications and technology. You can specialise in e.g. tourism or service management.
The programme includes an internship, and you will learn about the structure and interest areas of the service professions in theory and praxis.
The programme takes 2 years and is based on relevant business practices and theories. It is made up of a common compulsory part and a specialisation part.
The specialisation track allows you to choose among three areas: service management, tourism or hotel and restaurant management. You choose your specialisation area when you start the programme.
The compulsory part of the curriculum is made up of six subject areas:
Methodology and society, which includes Methodology, Business and Social Descriptions, Ethics and Sustainability
The service enterprise, which includes Business Administration, Service Theories, Trade Knowledge and Law
Organisation, which includes Organisation principles, Management and personnel development, Work environment and Project management
Planning, which includes Strategic Planning, Quality, Marketing and Innovation
Communications, which includes English plus another language, Cultural Understanding and Customer Relations
Technology, which includes Internal and External IT and Communications Systems
You receive a fundamental academic knowledge in the service professions, their organisation, interest areas, economic structure and business conditions.
