Lab Technologist (demo only)

In this programme you are trained within bio-chemicial and chemical-technological subjects. You will learn to analyze e.g. food to detect bacteria.

Through the teaching of chemistry, mathematics, microbiology and laboratory techniques you will learn the basic conditions for carrying out tests and trials.

As a Lab Technologist or Lab Assistant you can work in many industries including in pharmaceutical and food industries, in research laboratories or in the chemical industry.

Most of the products you encounter in your everyday life have been through the hands of a Lab Technologist. Laboratory tests and check raw materials and finished products before being shipped out to consumers. During training you learn to analyse products in areas such as pharmaceuticals, food industry and the chemical industry.

Lab Technologists is a vocational programme that lasts 2 ½ years. It is divided into a mandatory part and optional program elements. There are internship equivalent to 50 ECTS (60 ECTS credits correspond to full-time job for one year).

The main subjects are chemistry, microbiology / biotechnology and laboratory techniques, but also includes subjects such as quality management and IT.

Chemical Technology
